Kayla Graniti is an Assistant Production Manager, court reporter and videographer in our Louisville, Kentucky office. Kayla provides reporting services for depositions, arbitrations, hearings, board meetings and labor negotiations. In terms of her litigation background, she has experience with personal injury, EUO’s, Workers’ Compensation, medical malpractice, family law, and a wide variety of other cases.
Like all of our court reporters, Kayla takes depositions on a daily basis. While most court reporters typically take only two or three depositions per week, our standardized production system allows our court reporters to stay in the field every day. In short, court reporters like Kayla spend almost all of their time working directly with attorneys and experiencing the many unique situations that can arise during litigation. Every year in the field for a court reporter is like three or four for attorneys in terms of depositions witnessed. Whatever problem or scenario that may arise at your deposition, you can be confident that Kayla has successfully dealt with a similar situation in the past.
Kayla was born and raised in Michigan which makes her a big Red Wings fan. If you happen to be one of the other 20 people outside of Canada who love hockey, then Kayla is the court reporter for you. When she is not working hard on your deposition transcripts, Kayla enjoys reading, running and hitting the gym daily. She considers herself a busybody and stays busy all the time.
We call Kayla one of our Louisville court reporters because she works from our Louisville office. However, she regularly covers depositions all across Kentucky. There are not a lot of people who can say that they’ve been to Middlesboro, Kentucky, and Paducah, Kentucky, in the same month but that is par for the course for our court reporters.
